Meet the Pastor
Dr. Keith Ray
Keith grew up just across the river from Tuscaloosa in Northport AL. His family made church involvement a priority and he “walked the aisle” to be baptized as a young child. However, as a teen and young adult he had no interest in Christ and followed his own desires, which included service as an aircraft mechanic in the US Navy.
It was not until after his military service, at age twenty-five, that he actually became a Christ follower. Immediately, God brought a retired pastor into his life to mentor him in being a disciple of Christ who makes new disciples.
Keith has over twenty years of ministry experience, and degrees from Southeastern Bible College (B.A.) and Beeson Divinity School (M.Div., and Dr. Min.).
His passion is expositional preaching – giving witness to the power of the gospel and how Jesus is the Bible’s hero.
He enjoys spending time with his wife, Rebecca, and their two boys, friends, sports (Roll Tide!), music (he plays a mean iPod,) reading, cooking (especially BBQ,) and working with his hands.
Ministers to Students
Scott & Terri Dunn
Bro. Scott and Mrs. Terri grew up in the Andalusia area, and are graduates of Straughn High School. They both became Christ-followers at a young age and have served the church in many capacities prior to becoming Harmony’s Ministers to Students in 2012. Since then, they have led our Students in weekly Bible study, annual retreats, and many other fellowships and events.
Bro. Scott has a great desire to bring a sense of stability and growth to today’s unstable culture by helping teens grow in their walk with Jesus so that it becomes a steadfast focus in their lives. Mrs. Terri loves getting to know the youth and watching them grow in their faith and use their talents to serve the Lord. They love spending time with their family and can often be found at area sporting events cheering on their son and daughter as well as many other students in the community.
Diane is a native of North Carolina, but has lived in many areas of the USA as well as Seoul, S. Korea while her husband, William, served 26 years in the US Air Force.
Since college, she has worked with children in such positions as GA leader, Sunday School teacher, VBS director, and in Discipleship Training. Currently, she loves serving at Harmony as the Preschool Director.
Her favorite moments are watching children learn that God loves them more than they can imagine and that they can talk to God about ANYTHING-“even their hurt puppies.”
She also enjoys mentoring and working with the Preschool teachers and helping them love the children through teaching them God’s Word.
She has 2 children and 2 grandchildren, and loves spending time with her family, reading and assembling LEGOS!
